We hope to get many of you to this event; if interested, let me or Chris know.
Travel: Inverness is a 5h drive but scenic the whole way (via Jedburgh!) but consider the train; There are direct trains from Newcastle - if you travel off-peak (e.g. Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon) and book well ahead, there are some fantastic deals to be had; I have travelled there for less than £20 return recently. Tickets become available about two months ahead on East Coast Trains.
Accommodation: A club member's close relative runs a hotel at Fort Augustus (The Lovat Arms), the marathon start line; details to follow!. Inverness has accommodation to suit all budgets from camping and a good youth hostel to 5 star hotels.
